Far too windy for birds today apart from 4 Buzzards which were enjoying the updrafts over the valley.
The gorse bushes held a few fungi including some very bright Yellow Brain Fungus (Tremella). In the woods some spring flowers were showing leaves if not blooms, including Bluebell, Ramsons and Lords-and-ladies. The views were amazing, even if it was too misty to see Portland, but the wind really was too cold and strong to stand still and take any photos. Luckily I took these the week before! |
