Most of the Rodwell Trail is too enclosed for this species but towards Portland in sections 5 - 7 there are often Linnets flying over and settled in the gorse bushes. You can see this species most of the year but in autumn they are joined by a number of rarer finches on migration, including Brambling, Siskin and Redpoll.
