Radipole Lake
Tuesday September 23rd 2014
For the past few years Radipole has had a number of hobbys take up residence around the north hide in September.
They arrived this afternoon.
Earlier in the morning they were nowhere to be seen, but this buzzard was present on the same perch it was using the evening before.
The evening before that, in much better light, I filmed this group of teal and shoveler.
Last week the water level was nice and low, encouraging plenty of waders to feed in front of the hide,
Such as these two snipe.
