Radipole Lake RSPB Reserve
Saturday December 7th 2019
The Brown Rats at Radipole Lake are generally poorly regarded, especially by the people throwing bread at the ducks, which is why the rats are there in the first place. But of course they are as much a part of the reserve's wildlife as the Bearded Tits and Otters, and a lot easier to see as well.
I find that filming the rats, particularly if it's done at close quarters, helps us get over our initial revulsion, allowing us to appreciate their more attractive qualities.
